The papers, controlled by the FAT CATS in society put a positive spin on everything and focus on the ROYAL WEDDING despite the feeling amongst the working class, now out of a job for over 2 years, that the figureheads are a waste of money.

Plans to stage the biggest heist in history by stealing the Crown Jewels before the Royal Wedding have been uncovered and the government claiming that Terrorists are behind this are using this are an excuse to declare martial law to put armed forces in control of all the resources like power stations, broadcasting facilities and water purification plants under the guise of securing the national infrastructure against the terrorist threat

The Uprising – Retribution is a game for control of territory which will lead to clues about the whereabouts of the jewels.

Timed objectives spread throughout the game zone will ensure the winning side will require mobility and strong command & control infrastucture.

Short walks to huge firefights, sneeky insertion for mission completion, and intense CQB and Urban battles are all woven into the DNA of this fantastic game which caters for all player styles.

A printed copy of the gameplay information, a full colour GAME MAP, rules, and arrival / registration details will be provided in your event guide. This will be sent, with your tickets, 2 weeks before the event.

Built as an ammunition assembly plant in WW2 Swynnerton is one of the largest DTE sites we can get access to. It is in virtually constant use by Army and Security Forces for training and live firing exercises.

The 2011 Festival has an even bigger portion of this incredible area. This means more combat gaming options than ever before. Our allocated area has been revised and we now also have separate allocated game areas for Airsoft, Lazer Combat and mini Paintball on the Friday and Saturday.

Accomodation
Camp, dorm, or hotel, you choose.

There is always a fantastic atmosphere around the Big Game campsite which adds to the festival weekend vibe.

Swynnerton base also has full facilities for accommodating up to 600 serviceman at any one time. So if camping is not your thing then you can get the authentic army experience and book a bed & locker in one of our dorms inside Bunker 6 – an original underground structure dating back to WW2.

Camping
Camping is included with your Festival Pass. Standard tents, familty tents, campers, and caravans are all welcome. You will be allocated a suitable space on arrival.
Basic facilities are provided including running water, and plenty of (regularly serviced /cleaned) portable toilets.

VIP ticket holders wil recieve a pass to allow the use of the shower block / latrines inside Bunker 6.

Bunker 6 Dorm
Bunker 6 has a few creature comforts for those not wishing to use the campsite. For a £30 fee you will be allocated 2 nights accommodation, an authentic army bed, and a steel locker in the main dormitory – you will simply need a sleeping bag and a padlock for your locker.

Dismounted Close Combat Trainer

Once again we are delighted, and extremely grateful to the army to offer a UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY to experience a session in the army’s state of the art DCCT trainer system based at Swynnerton.

This VERY expensive piece of kit it links real weapons with video training technology to create real time battle situations for active service training.

Civilians are not normally permitted anywhere near this system. We owe a great thanks to our army colleagues who have once again worked wonders to get us permission to use the equipment.

Army personnel will brief all participants in the use of the system, and a Range Officer will control the battle session.

Battle Storm

The incredible Battle Storm Advanced Laser combat system will be featured at the Big Game Festival. The gameplay experts at Battle Storm will run specificially designed 90 minute combat sessions.

Battlestorm will be played on a portion of the Swynnerton Training Area with varied terrain including woodland and urban and will involve a multi-role multi-mission scenario utilising a wide range of replica weapons fitted with the battle storm system.

Battle Storm Advanced hi-tech outdoor laser combat simulation system. It is designed and manufactured in the UK. Based on a military theme, replica weapons are used to fire beams of IR at other players and this basic operation is ullised by many military and tactical firearms units for training due to its realism and immersive feel.

Battle Storm Advanced is the most advanced Laser Combat Simulation system in its class; systems have been purchased by the British Army for training purposes in both the Advanced system and the Battlestorm CQB system.

CQB Training

Want to experience CQB with the professionals? Serving UK military Instructors will deliver this fantastic 90 minute activity.

Using your own airsoft equipment you will take part in demonstrations, scenarios, and a 30 minute indoor game set in a purpose built CQB training building within the Swynnerton Training Area.

Warped Megarena

The warped megarena will be in operation on friday and saturday. Challenge your mates in the biggest megarena in the UK. An air station will be setup near the megarena and rental equipment will be available for friends and family to have a go.

The Big Game Party is legendary. In 2011 it will once again take place in the cavernous Bunker 7 and you can expect even more shenanigans!
