The Venue – Swynnerton DTE

A highly active military training area which offers over 2 million square metres (700+ acres) of varied terrain, buildings, installations, and customised training areas.

Built as an ammunition assembly plant in WW2 Swynnerton is one of the largest DTE sites we can get access to. It is in virtually constant use by Army and Security Forces for training and live firing exercises.

The 2011 Festival has an even bigger portion of this incredible area. This means more combat gaming options than ever before. Our allocated area has been revised and we now also have separate allocated game areas for Airsoft, Lazer Combat and mini Paintball on the Friday and Saturday.

Accomodation
Camp, dorm, or hotel, you choose.

There is always a fantastic atmosphere around the Big Game campsite which adds to the festival weekend vibe.

Swynnerton base also has full facilities for accommodating up to 600 serviceman at any one time. So if camping is not your thing then you can get the authentic army experience and book a bed & locker in one of our dorms inside Bunker 6 – an original underground structure dating back to WW2.

Camping
Camping is included with your Festival Pass. Standard tents, familty tents, campers, and caravans are all welcome. You will be allocated a suitable space on arrival.
Basic facilities are provided including running water, and plenty of (regularly serviced /cleaned) portable toilets.

VIP ticket holders wil recieve a pass to allow the use of the shower block / latrines inside Bunker 6.

Bunker 6 Dorm
Bunker 6 has a few creature comforts for those not wishing to use the campsite. For a £30 fee you will be allocated 2 nights accommodation, an authentic army bed, and a steel locker in the main dormitory – you will simply need a sleeping bag and a padlock for your locker.
